Vaughn and the doctor
Well it happened again the other day. Vaughn had a cough. Tony thought it might be croup, because Campbell had it last week. We took Vaughn into the DR. Vaughn was wearing a windbreaker with sleeves that had elastic at the wrists. This normally wouldn't be a big deal except, when we took off his windbreaker Vaughn took one look at the indents in his wrist from the elastic and said "CUT". He proceeded to cry and cover up his wrist thinking he was extremely hurt. The doctor even got a good look at his ears without Vaughn moving. He of course has an ear infection. Then, the dr. wanted to give Vaughn a sticker. He cried and said "NOOOOO!" He thought it was medicine! The doctor then gave him a Thomas the train sticker and all was better.

I sure hope going to the doctor isn't going to become a pattern again! Let's hope it was an isolated incident! Maybe it's time to get Vaughn a bigger size jacket??? :)
I'm sure he's tired of the ordeal as much as you are. But tubes may be in order again, huh?
He's pretty observant to associate hurting with the creases left by the elastic. A fun memory to have recorded.
